“As a private citizen, I've already gotten progressive policies into Georgia law, even under conservative majorities. Now I'm running to get even more done, using my experience as a civil rights and gun violence prevention attorney, with organizations like the ACLU. As an immigrant to Georgia who was on public assistance, later wrongly flagged as a non-citizen voter, then rose up to graduate from Yale Law School, I want to empower us all.”
